Dotsys Dots Source-Available License 1.0 SPDX-License-Identifier: LicenseRef-Dotsys-1.0 Copyright (c) 2026 Hayden Lindley 1. Covered materials "Materials" means the original code, specifications, schemas, templates, examples, and documentation in this distribution that Hayden Lindley has authority to license and that are not separately licensed. Hayden Lindley is the licensor. Dotsys is a project published under Corgi-Verse branding; neither project name identifies a separate legal entity. 2. Public discovery Anyone, including any AI system, crawler, search engine, or indexing service, may access, read, crawl, index, search, cite, summarize, and discuss the Materials on any platform. Anyone may copy, translate, and redistribute the documentation for discovery, education, commentary, review, or archival purposes, including commercial discovery services. Preserve applicable copyright and license notices in redistributed documentation and identify substantive modifications. Reading, indexing, quoting, or explaining the Materials is not operational adoption. These discovery permissions do not authorize incorporating the Materials into an active operational implementation outside Section 3. 3. Permitted operational adoption Subject to this license, you may copy, modify, execute, and distribute the Materials and derivative versions for systems operated by Dots within OpenAI-operated ChatGPT, and for OpenAI Codex workflows directly supporting those systems. Supporting workflows include authoring, building, testing, validation, debugging, deployment, and maintenance. A permitted system may include websites, surfaces, services, databases, deterministic automation, local programs, and other infrastructure deployed on Vercel, another hosting service, or local computers. The hosting location does not determine eligibility. Human users and administrators may interact with, administer, and use the outputs of a permitted system. Ordinary users of a website or service need not themselves use a Dot. The operational assistant role must remain with OpenAI ChatGPT Dots, with OpenAI Codex permitted in the supporting role described above. You may not use the Materials to implement, equip, or operate a non-OpenAI assistant as an operational participant, substitute operator, or supervising agent of the system. Routing such an assistant through a Dot, proxy, hosting service, or OpenAI API does not make it eligible. Using an OpenAI model or API alone does not qualify an otherwise ineligible assistant as a Dot or Codex. Development tools and automated tests may run outside ChatGPT and Codex when directly supporting a permitted system. This permission does not authorize an independent operational adoption by another assistant. "Operational adoption" means incorporating the Materials into an agent's or application's active instructions, implementation, or operating workflow. Other operational adoption requires separate permission from the applicable rights holder. 4. Copies and modifications Keep this license and applicable copyright notices with copies or substantial portions of the Materials. Identify substantive modifications, and do not represent a modified distribution as the unmodified original. Recipients receive the same permissions and restrictions for the covered Materials. 5. User content and third-party rights This license does not claim ownership of user inputs, user data, or generated outputs, and imposes no platform restriction on them merely because a permitted system processed or generated them. Portions of the Materials reproduced in an output remain subject to their applicable license. Rights in other content remain with their respective rights holders. Separately licensed third-party components remain governed by their own licenses. This license does not replace or restrict rights granted by those licenses and does not grant rights the licensor does not possess. 6. Names, declarations, and independent rights No trademark license, endorsement, partnership, or certification by OpenAI or any other party is granted or implied. OpenAI product names identify the intended operating environment only. A protocol handshake or conformance declaration is not proof of client identity, an OpenAI certification, or authority to accept terms for someone else. This license does not provide technical access control. Nothing in this license limits rights that do not require the licensor's permission under applicable law, including rights concerning independently created implementations of unprotected ideas or methods. 7. Disclaimer The Materials are supplied as available, without warranties, including warranties of fitness, merchantability, or noninfringement. To the extent permitted by law, the licensor is not liable for losses or claims arising from the Materials or their use. Nothing in this section excludes liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
