FROM IDEA TO ARTIFACT
A one-minute film starts with six simple shots. Follow this fictional request through to a written plan you can actually open, download and adapt.

“Help me plan a one-minute film of an unhurried Saturday. Give me a shot list I could make on my phone, with a beginning, a middle and a quiet ending.”
First output: a film plan. No filming, music generation or publishing requested.
Choose six simple moments. Give each one a place in the minute. Use material you have permission to film, keep faces private and leave room to review the edit.
Download the project brief| Time | Shot | Direction |
|---|---|---|
| 00–08s | The first light | Static wide shot of a window; someone opens the curtain. |
| 08–15s | The first cup | Close shot of steam or hands around a cup. |
| 15–27s | Out for a walk | Two six-second shots: shoes on the path, then a wide view. |
| 27–38s | A small find | A market detail or lunch being set down. Avoid identifiable strangers. |
| 38–50s | Take the long way | One held view of the walk home; let the frame settle. |
| 50–60s | A quiet ending | Return to the window in evening light, then fade. |
Available now: this written shot list. The film has not been made. Use natural sound or music you have the right to use, and review the final timing before any release.

Sharing stays optional.

One idea.
A place for the work.
Your conversation with your dot.
Keep your documents, creative tools and project folders. Start by linking the relevant work; there’s no automatic app connection to configure here.
The preparation guide helps you make a project brief you can copy or download. It doesn’t ask you to create Google, GitHub or Vercel accounts.
If a project needs code, approve a specific handoff to Codex separately. Actual tools, access and costs depend on the environment you choose.
A FEW PRACTICAL THINGS
Yes. The workflows, sample files and brief builder here are free. ChatGPT access and optional third-party tools follow their own availability, terms and costs. This website does not sell a subscription or take payments.
Start with an idea and your supported conversation with your dot in ChatGPT. The workflows are readable text; the brief builder runs here in your browser. You don’t need new Google, GitHub or Vercel accounts. The optional skill package has its own host requirements, explained before you use it.
The website helps prepare the work. It does not run tasks, install tools, synchronize chats or connect accounts. You choose the next supported action with your dot. A coding build, paid tool or publication needs its own applicable decision.
No. The personal toolbox works without a public profile or community. Optional discovery, selected sharing, credited remixing and collaboration are being designed; no community service is active here.
AND GUMMY?
You don’t need to learn DotSys to watch, listen, play or explore Gummy. If you want to carry a creative project further with your dot, this approach can help you prepare it. A live connection isn’t included here.
How the pieces fitFOR THE CURIOUS
DotSys 0.1 also describes a small, optional way to introduce projects between people. It’s separate from making your first project plan — and never gives another person permission to act.
